Nothing brings people together like food and drinks. Put on your party hat with these flavorful fall beverages.
It’s always fun to get creative in the kitchen, but it’s even better when your concoctions put you in the holiday spirit. We’re sharing a couple of cocktails (and mocktails) that we think would be the perfect addition to your upcoming friends and family gatherings.
Aromatic Pumpkin Spice Margarita Cocktail
1 cup ice
2 oz tequila blanco
½ oz lime juice
1 oz pumpkin puree
1 oz pumpkin spice simple syrup (see recipe below)
1 tsp pumpkin spice or cinnamon/sugar mixture for rim (optional)
1 lime wedge for garnish (optional)
1 cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)
Garnish the rim of your glass with your pumpkin spice/ cinnamon sugar blend. Add ice, tequila, lime juice, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin spice simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Shake until mixed (about 30 seconds). Add ice to your glass and pour the cocktail mix into your glass. Add a lime wedge and cinnamon stick for garnish, if desired. Enjoy!
Pumpkin Spice Simple Syrup Recipe:
Mix together ¼ cup of water, 3 tbsp of brown sugar, and 3 tsp of pumpkin spice blend into a small pot. Turn heat on medium and bring to a boil. Bring the temperature to low and allow the mixture to simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Allow to cool before using.
Apple Cider Margarita Cocktail

2 oz Reposado Tequila
½ oz Cointreau
2 oz unfiltered apple cider
1/z oz lime juice
1 tbsp raw sugar
1 tbsp kosher salt
1 tsp cinnamon
Maple syrup to rim the glass
Dip your glass into maple syrup and then into the sugar, salt, and cinnamon mixture. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all drink ingredients. Shake until blended and strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with apple slices and don’t forget to snap a photo.
Ginger Apple Spritzer Mocktail
6 oz apple cider
1 tsp ginger juice
4 oz ginger beer
2 dashes cardamom bitters
Combine the cider, ginger juice, and bitters into a cocktail shaker. Fill two glasses with ice and pour the mixture evenly into both glasses. Top with ginger beer and garnish with apple slices. The ginger drink of our dreams!
